Well, I have given my daughter her first ouchy. I was cutting her fingernails and I got the skin. She just cried and cried. There was even blood! I was so upset. I put a little band-aid on her finger and apologized over and over. I hope she's not traumatized! I have cut her fingernails since without inflicting injury but I HATE doing it!
Yeah! I'm so excited you have a blog on sweety Jael:) I love hearing updates on all of the little people in our lives...especially the ones we don't get to see very often. Hope Jael's first ochy is healing well!
ReplyDeleteI've done it lots, here's a helpful hint. Wait until she's asleep, that way if you catch her finger she'll never know! Wow I sound like a mean mother...
